Shimelis Adugna was born in October13,1935 at Jijiga town the then eastern part of Hararge now Somalia zone from military family.He joined his primery school at hararge and then high school in General Wingate secondary school.

Ejeta, Gebisa was born on June 1, 1949 in Wollonkomi, Shoa, After the eighth grade, he was accepted into Jimma Agricultural and Technical School in Ethiopia, which had been established by OSU under the US government’s Point Four Program (now USAID).

Zumra Nuru

  Zumra Nuru was born in 1947 and grew up in the Ethiopian countryside. After a hard day working on the farm, his father would put his feet up, while his mother continued working at home, until the early hours of the morning.

Derartu Tulu

Derartu Tulu is an Ethiopian former long-distance runner, who competed in track, cross country running, and road running up to the marathon distance. She currently serves as President of Ethiopian Athletics Federation.

Lemma Guya

Lemma Guya Gemeda (1928–2020) (Oromo: Lammaa Guyyaa Gammadaa) was born in 1928 in Ada’a, Oromia, Ethiopia. He was an Ethiopian prior Painting Artist. He provided about ten-thousand of his original works. He was using a goat skin for painting portraits.
