Welcome to College of Social Sciences and Humanities

The College of Social Sciences and Humanities, located in the main campus of Jimma University, was restructured into the current shape passing through two development stages. Before the year 2009, there were three independent faculties (Faculty of Education comprising both Social Science and Natural science education, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences comprising departments such as Sociology and Social Work, Psychology, Oromo Folklore and Literature, Governance and Development Studies, and the Faculty of Law)
