Department Administration: The department head is elected from the theater arts department teaching staff on the basis of merit and interest as soon as the college announces the vacancy for the post; and should have theater experience and background in order to be good in headship role. The duties of the department head diligent him/her and that puts effort into doing and completing tasks. Through course of action of these duties the head is require to undertake the guidance of university rule, college and staff teams and other sister departments. Also, facilitate department activities like meetings, supervise department committees and alert all staffs should expect to do. The main thing, hence the center of all things is students the department head have a duty to entertain whatever raised students’ case. At this time Tena Alemayehu is perform as chair, department of theater arts.
