The Department of Geography and Environmental Studies offers courses in comfortable classrooms that it shares with other departments of the College of Social Science and Humanities. Furthermore, the Department has two well-equipped computer laboratories for practical courses each for undergraduate and graduate programs. It is planning to expand the laboratory to integrate cartography and map-reading practice and a teaching laboratory.
The library system of the university offers good opportunity for students to go to read and browse the internet at several sites on the main campus, and other campuses of the university. The libraries offer access to the students to eBooks and several online journals the university has subscribed.
