SUSTAIN Project Inaugural Workshop held at Jimma University

(14th of Feb, 2019) SUSTAIN project launching workshop held at Jimma University. SUSTAIN is a tripartite project targeted at advancing international understanding, intercultural competence and international networks for students and faculty through mobility and capacity exchange.

The Partners engaged in the project are College of Business and Economics (Jimma University), Norwegian Business School (Norway) and School of Business in Mzube University (Tanzania). The project is funded by Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education (NORPART) and focuses on Sustainable Business Development and Supply Chain Management.

At the inaugural workshop, JU Acting President Mr. Kora Tushune reflected that the project would add to the international collaboration Jimma University aspires to strengthen as it boosts the South-South and North-South collaboration. Dr. Kenenisa Lemi, Dean of the college and Prof. Marianne presented the key emphasis and targets of the project.

The session was concluded with the signing of MOU among the partnering institutions.
