The Department of Health Policy and Management, Faculty of Public Health, Institute of Health at Jimma University, in collaboration with Fenot/Harvard, organized a three-day training on Evidence-to-Policy (E2P) from May 14th to May 16th, 2024.
The training was led by Professor Tsinuel Girma, Director of Fenot/Harvard, along with esteemed professors and senior advisors from the same institution, Professor Mirkuzie Wolde and Dr. Bereket Yacob.
The training aimed to provide participants with the necessary skills to analyze health policy and effectively utilize evidence in policy-making.
The training commenced with an insightful opening remark from Professor Kifle Woldemichael, Delegate of the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, who expressed his commitment to capacitating MPH and PhD students in translating evidence into impactful policies.
