Jimma University proudly celebrated the graduation of 2,124 students in a joyous ceremony held today July 20,2023 at the Jimma University Hacchalu Hundessa Hall. Among the graduates, 1,835 completed their study at Bachelor degree level, 282 at master level and 7 at PhD level. 
The ceremony was graced by esteemed guests of honor, including Prof. Tilahun Teshome, Vice-Chair of the Jimma University Board, Dr. Jemal Abafita, the university’s President, and Mr. Tijani, the Administrator of Jimma Zone, who joined other invited guests and higher officials in commemorating this occasion.
The ceremony commenced with an opening address by Dr. Jemal Abafita, who extended his warmest congratulations to all the successful graduates he described as winners. 
High-achieving students were acknowledged and awarded for their exceptional academic performances and contributions to the university community
