JU President, Dr. Jemal Abafita and Delegates from Ministry of Heath, Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Ethiopian Medical Association had a fruitful discussion today (April 19, 2019) with Jimma University Medical Interns. A consensus was reached as to how the prior concerns of the students are to be addressed in no time, and procedurally on the ones which involve the MoH, MoSHE, EMA and other stakeholders.
A team from among the students is assigned to closely to work with the University and Hospital management to follow up the progress of the improvement and eventually bring a lasting solution. Following the general discussion at the Hall, the assigned representatives discussed with the president, the CEO of the Hospital and delegates on the practical immediate plan of actions.
