Delegates composed of four professors (Dr. Alireza Nikbakht Nasrabadi, Dr. Mahdi Mohammadreza Khami ,Dr. Farzin Leila Shahmoradi and Dr. Azadeh Shadmehr ) from the TUMS are visiting JU from 29th October to 2nd November, 2017.
The partnership between the two institutions started when a delegate led by the president of JU visited the Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in November 2016. The visit was very much effective in allowing the two institutions get to know each other and paved the way in identifying potential areas for future collaboration and even a Memorandum of understanding was signed between the representatives of the two institutions. The current visit of the delegates of TUMS is aimed at laying the foundation to realizing the areas of agreements as expressed in the MoU which requires further discussions and coming together to take concrete actions.
The delegates were warmly welcomed by the President of JU, Professor Fikre Lemessa and all the V/Ps of the University, after which representatives of the two institutions presented brief overview of each other.
Discussions and visits are going on with all relevant units and departments of the Jimma Institute of Health.
