A productive discussion was held here at Jimma University.. The aim of the discussion was to facilitate a Semester Exchange program for PhD and Masters Students, as well as joint integrated multidisciplinary PhD programs and collaborative research initiatives. The goal of these initiatives is to enhance the quality of learning and teaching skills, thereby producing world-class engineers.
As part of the ongoing efforts, four PhD and two MSc students have already been selected to participate in a short-term exchange mobility training program at the Indian Institute of Technology, Indore. This exchange opportunity includes the provision of joint supervision for the PhD students. To further this collaboration, a screening process was conducted to select seven PhD candidates from Jimma University Institute of Technology. These candidates will have the opportunity to conduct research and engage in laboratory activities at the Indian Institute of Technology
