In an important milestone, Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI) and Jimma University came together in a high-level collaborative discussion. Dr. Jemal Abafita, Jimma University president warmly welcomed the representatives from AHRI, recognizing AHRI as one of the nation’s distinguished research institutes.
During the discussion, Dr. Jemal emphasized the ongoing collaborative efforts between the two institutions and expressed a strong desire to further strengthen their relationship. Professors Dilnesaw and Professor. Demisew from Jimma University provided updates on the progress of AHRI-funded projects, enlightening the audience about the institute’s contributions.

The consultative discussion with AHRI clearly demonstrated the intent to elevate the partnership to new heights, reaffirming AHRI’s commitment to advancing innovation through collaboration.
