Research Coordination and Projects Development Department
This department is responsible to coordinate all research undertakings according to set priorities through interdisciplinary cooperation and by involving all stakeholders of development. It is also responsible to make research outcomes action oriented.
The organization of research undertaking should be systematized and pragmatically tailored to major thematic areas of public health importance. To realize this and make the research opportunities open, a research consortium will be organized under major thematic areas like infectious diseases, chronic diseases including mental health, maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases, drug related and the like.
In addition, each consortium will have a research team focusing on specific areas. On top of these, the department is responsible to coordinate and develop multidisciplinary research and developmental projects to solicit fund locally or internationally.
