With over 21 PhD programs, 21 MSc programs, 15 specialty and 5 sub-specialty programs representing multiple health care disciplines, the Institute of Health is one of the most dynamic, multifaceted academic and research institute at Jimma university that offers an exceptional and diverse set of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate healthcare programs that positively contribute to the advancement of healthcare delivery, both locally and globally. Through the state of art medical center (JUMC), we provide outpatient, inpatient, and emergency medical services.
As a research institute we are advancing knowledge and practice in basic and advanced research on communicable- and non-communicable diseases, and trauma.
