The Department of Educational Planning and Management is one of the departments in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences at Jimma University. The Department contributed a lot in producing qualified educational leaders and managers who serve at different echelons of the sector in the country. The department embraces the mission and core goals of the University and the College of Education and Behavioural Science, seeking to prepare leaders and managers specifically for diverse schools, education offices, and communities in general.
The Department offers undergraduate BA degree in Educational Planning and Management and post graduate degrees in Educational Leadership and School Leadership at the Master’s level in regular, continuous and distance education programmes. The department also offers Postgraduate Diploma in School Leadership (PGDSL).
