Ethical conduct is a weapon to suppress undesirable wishes, evil thoughts and intrusive emotional temptations which otherwise hamper our characters, actions and decisions. It is thus vitally important that we use this instrument wisely for a better effect in our lives.
Ethical conduct distinguishes people from animals, helps us to maintain human dignity and enable us to control our ego. It is a compass that guides our moves to respond to our desire and inner drives thereby helping us to address them in accordance with moral standards. Education and experience are vital tools to develop ethical behavior. It goes without saying that university is where education is acquired and experience is shared. University students are therefore expected to be exemplary in there ethical behavior. As university students, always bear in mind that you are here to acquire useful knowledge, to search for truth and develop your innovative skills.
