The Scientific Director, Prof. Jung Yong Kim, in collaboration with Sweden, has developed a new semiconductor based on DNA and self-doped conjugated polyelectrolyte and published his results in Biomacromolecules (impact factor = 5.667), which could be applied to organic optoelectronics and bioelectronics. Prof. Kim emphasizes that “we need to publish our papers through prestigious journal publishers such as the American Chemical Society (ACS), the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Willey-Blackwell, Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, etc.” He also hopes that JIT may publish research papers in the top journals such as Nature and Science, in future, by considering both impact factor and citations. To this end, JIT community should work hard together in researches and publications.
