The Scientific Director is, with the status of a Vice President, the Chief Executive Officer of JiT. He/she is responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the Institute and implementation of the Institute’s Strategic Plan. He/she is a member of Senate Executive Committee and the Senate of the University. He/she is accountable to the President of Jimma University. He/she leads the transformation process of JiT and is responsible for the implementation of the strategic plan.
