JiT has a Supervisory Board, which is the Institute‟s highest approving and monitoring organ whose power emanates from the delegation of the power of the University Board. The Chairperson and the other members of the Supervisory Board are appointed by the Ministry of Education in consultation with the University Board as per the Institute of Technogy (IoT) Autonomy Directive 5.2.2. The Supervisory Board meet quarterly to discuss on strategic issues of the Institutes. The composition of the supervisory board is determined by the Ministry of Education and the University. The Supervisory board have duties and responsibilities stipulated in the IoT Autonomy Directive, Article 5.3.
