The College of Law and Governance (CLG) is one of the six colleges of Jimma University. Located at the main campus, the College at the moment brings together School of Law and Department of Governance and Development Studies.
The college has a strong presence in the community via the Free Legal Aid center of the School of Law through CBTP and DTTP programs. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate trainings and is strongly working on diversifying trainings in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
The college was established in July 2014 upon a board decision as part of the restructuring of colleges of the University with the amalgamation of School of Law and the Department of Governance and Development Studies.
