To build human resource capacity by producing competent Wildlife Management and Ecotourism Development professionals who can contribute to the effort of sustainable utilization of Natural Resources of the country and beyond;

- To provide advisory /consultancy/extension services in the field;
- Contribute to national and global dialogues, share lessons and practices in nature conservation and eco-tourism
Applicants should possess an appropriate BSc degree in fields of Natural Resources Management, Forestry, Ecotourism, Biology, Geography, and other related fields with CGPA of 2.00 and above. Students are also required to meet other requirements set by the University.
Graduate Profile
The MSc programme in NRM (wildlife and ecotourism management):

Equips students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in wildlife (conservation) and ecotourism management
- Provides need-based training in the area of wildlife and ecotourism management
Graduation Requirement
The student should obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.0, with only one “C” grade. Student is also required to meet other requirements set by the University. Students are expected to take 29 credit hours (50 ECTS) course work; one credit hour (2 ECTS) of seminar, 3 credit hours (5 ECTS) of Developmental Team Training Program (DTTP), 2 Credit hour (3 ECTS) internship and 6 Credit hours (9 ECTS) of thesis work and total of 39 Credit hour and 61 ECTS. The duration of the MSc. degree training shall not exceed two years. One year will be devoted to course work and the second year will be devoted to internship, thesis work and DTTP. Extension beyond the four semesters will not be possible without any justification- this has to be accepted and agreed upon by the graduate committee and the academic commission of the college.
Degree Nomenclature
The degree to be awarded for graduates of Natural Resource Management shall be named as“Master of Science Degree in Natural Resource Management (wildlife and ecotourism management)
