VIT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jimma University to provide PhD opportunities for academic staff members of Jimma University. The university is now inviting applications from interested staff.

After registering, you will receive a password at your registered email address. Use these credentials to log in and complete your application. The application will be evaluated based on the documents you upload, and a Provisional Admission Letter will be issued in due course.
Required Documents
When applying online, please ensure you have the following documents ready:
• Age proof (Proof of citizenship / National ID) (Only for Integrated programmes).
• A copy of the applicant’s Passport.
• 12th grade / A Level / Form VI certificate for graduates. If still pursuing, provide 11th grade / AS Level / Form V (for Integrated programmes).
• UG Consolidated / Semester-wise mark sheets until the final year for graduates. If results are awaited, include marks up to the pre-final year (for postgraduate programmes).
•PG Consolidated / Semester-wise mark sheets until the final year for graduates.
•Template for Two-Page Research Proposal for Ph.D. / Direct Ph.D. applicants.
