Advanced Module in Pandemic Preparedness
From June 23 to 27, 2025, the advanced module Pandemic Preparedness was held in Jimma, Ethiopia, in collaboration with Jimma University. This comprehensive course combined theory and practice to build essential skills in pandemic response, covering outbreak dynamics, epidemiology, health policy, and recovery strategies.
The Faculty of Medical science, Institute of Health science, Jimma University organized a training on “Basics of Clinical Trial and Comprehensive Systematic Review” with a theme on Strengthening Evidence Based Medicine Practice and Training, with the support of WHO/TDR, the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases, Evidence Based Health Care Programme and Jimma University Clinical trial unit.
