Jimma University, in partnership with Bahir Dar University and the Institute of Foreign Affairs, hosted the second BRICS Policy Dialogue Series from April 4–5, 2025, at Jimma University.
The event focused on insights from Ethiopian expert institutions regarding BRICS and their implications for Ethiopia’s national aspirations.
The program featured presentations, experience-sharing sessions, and panel discussions addressing critical topics such as Ethiopia’s strategic alignment with BRICS partnerships in economic development, multilateral diplomacy, and global governance. Participants, including scholars, policymakers, and stakeholders, actively engaged by posing questions, offering feedback, and proposing actionable recommendations, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas.
