Jimma University delivered a comprehensive Performance Management System (PMS) training to managers of Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU)

A two-day training program on the Performance Management System (PMS) was delivered to top- and middle-level managers of the Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) by the Center for Leadership, College of Business and Economics, Jimma University.
The training was designed to strengthen participants’ understanding of both the theoretical foundations and the practical application of performance management, with particular emphasis on employee performance appraisal.
As EEU is preparing to undertake its upcoming employee performance appraisal exercise, the training focused on equipping managers with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to conduct fair, objective, transparent, and evidence-based performance evaluations. It also reinforced best practices in assessing employee performance, providing constructive feedback, minimizing appraisal biases, and ensuring consistency throughout the appraisal process.
