Jimma University Announces 2nd Round of International Course on Pandemic Preparedness – Fall 2026
Jimma University, in partnership with the Center for International Health at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich, Germany, is pleased to announce the second round of its flagship international training course, “Pandemic Preparedness.” The Jimma University Clinical Trial Unit will proudly host and coordinate this intensive program, reinforcing the University’s growing role in global health training and collaboration.
Scheduled to take place in person at Jimma University from June 8–12, 2026, this one-week course represents a major milestone in the University’s commitment to internationalization and leadership in preparing health work force for inevitable future pandemic. The program is designed to equip public health professionals, epidemiologists, researchers, and policymakers with practical skills and advanced knowledge to effectively prepare for and respond to future pandemics.
Participants will benefit from a dynamic, hands-on learning environment, guided by leading experts, and gain valuable insights into real-world pandemic preparedness strategies.
