Research interest:
My research interest mainly focusing on range of public health and clinical research with special focus on the following area :- Reproductive Health with special emphasis on Maternal and Child health, adolescent health service use, nutritional status And the determinant factors for service use; Health system research with emphasis on service quality, health information system, and data for decision at the lower level ; And implementation of priority health interventions for the improvement of maternal child health like maternity waiting area intervention, skill training of Health extension workers for better health service provision which contribute in the reduction of maternal newborn and child death.
Publications: I have been working in different research projects as PI and co-PI funded by national and international organizations. Coauthored more than 25 peer reviewed articles.
