Administration of the Medical and Public Health Office
The Medical and Public Health Office serves as the central coordinating body responsible for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of academic, clinical, and community health activities. It ensures the effective integration of medical education, public health practice, and research in alignment with institutional goals and national health priorities.
The office is led by the Dean of the Office, who provides strategic leadership and oversees all administrative and operational functions. Supporting the Head are key coordinators and unit leaders responsible for academic programs, clinical services, research coordination, and community engagement initiatives.
The administration is structured to promote efficiency, accountability, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Core administrative functions include:
♦ Academic Coordination: Managing teaching programs, schedules, and curriculum implementation for medical and public health students.
♦ Clinical Service Oversight: Ensuring quality, ethical, and patient-centered healthcare services in affiliated teaching facilities.
♦ Research and Innovation Management: Facilitating research activities, promoting evidence-based practice, and supporting problem-solving studies relevant to community health needs.
♦Community Engagement and Outreach: Coordinating public health interventions, health promotion programs, and partnerships with stakeholders.
♦ Resource and Personnel Management: Overseeing staff performance, capacity building, and efficient utilization of resources.
The office operates through a collaborative framework involving faculty, healthcare professionals, students, and external partners to ensure excellence in service delivery, education, and research.
