The freshman welcome ceremony has commenced at Jimma University. We extend a warm welcome to the new students joining us at the JU Main, Jimma Institute of Technology (JIT), College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (JUCAVM), and College of Business and Economics (BECO) campuses. 
This year, we welcome a total of 3,593 students to our freshman class, consisting of 1,176 in the social sciences and 2,417 in the natural sciences.
