CliMigHealth Africa Hub & School for Climate Studies WEBINAR
Summary of the webinar
Climate change is intensifying migration patterns and reshaping disease burdens, particularly vector-borne diseases like malaria. Such vector-borne infectious diseases remain a significant health challenge in Africa, with the continent bearing the largest global burden of the diseases. Unfortunately, progress against Malaria, mostly in sub-Saharan Africa, goes beyond the rhetoric of political challenges but is straining health systems and demanding innovative, cross-sectoral responses.
