Scholarship
Apart from offering training in the areas of agribusiness in a way that suits the needs of exiting national and global labor market, the EMBA program aspires to uplift and empower women in to managerial and leadership positions in the agribusiness sector. It intends to offer women special competitive advantage to participate in the training program and assume equal position with men to the further advancement of the sector. Offering scholarships for women with the launching of a new training program in the field will be a good starting point to ensure women’s active involvement and expansive role in the future. We generally aim to bring more women leaders, managers and practitioners in the agri-business sector as key players in achieving sustainable development.
We offer scholarships for women
We aim to bring more women leaders, managers and practitioners in the agri-business sector as key players in achieving sustainable development.
In addition to availing the EMBA for both women and men, we offer scholarships targeting women in the agri-business sector in order to empower women and to achieve gender equality
Our scholarship;
- Covers tuition Fee for women middle level managers in the agribusiness sector who will meet the minimum admission requirements for the program.
- Will reserve 5 positions out of the 25 intake per cohort
- Will recruit candidates through an open advertisement
- Will ensure the representation of all subsectors in the agribusiness
- Will follow a strict screening process involving written exam and interview
Other components of the scholarship;
- Awareness program for agribusiness leaders, managers and practitioners on gender biases, gender based violence and workplace balance etc. and
- Week long training on assertiveness, presentation and proposal writing skills for potential candidates.
