Veterinary medical students at our School of Veterinary Medicine benefit from a wide variety of academic and extracurricular experiences. The total number of students who are enrolled in all of the graduate and post graduate programs is 349. Out of this 70 students are registered for summer BVSc program. Our yearly intake in DVM program is 50 students. Animal welfare and one health, football clubs are the most important schemes established by the students. The clubs are engaged in different extracurricular or curricular associated activities such as:
- Awareness creation on zoonotic disease particularly focusing in Rabies
- Working on welfare of Pack animals especially on donkey and horses
- Involved in coordination and service deliver to animals found in ward and out patient during weekends and holidays
