Overview
The College Dean is the Chief Executive Officer of the College of Agriculture & Veterinary Medicine (CAVM). He/she is responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the College and implementation of the College Strategic Plan. He/she is the top decision-maker of the college in all aspects of teaching, learning, research, and administrative issues, together with the responsible office leaders. He/she is a member of the Academic Council of the College and the Senate of the University. He/she is accountable to the President of Jimma University. He/she leads the transformation process of CAVM and is responsible for the implementation of the strategic plan.
