JUCAVM is benefiting from the values linkage brings about. There has been a number of collaborations established so far; some of which include:1. Postharvest Management to Improve Livelihood (PHMIL)

2. NICHE Project on Agribusiness and Value Chain Management

  • Funding Source: Nuffic (Netherlands)
  • Partners: Q-Point (Netherlands), Ghent University (Belgium), Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherlands), Jimma, Haramaya, Hawassa & Ambo Universities (Ethiopia). Adama, Bahir Dar, Wolaita Sodo and Samara Universities are also beneficiaries of this project.

3. NICHE Project on Sustainable Tourism Based on Natural Resource Management with Gender Balance towards Women (STRONGBOW)

  • Funding Source: Nuffic (Netherlands)
  • Partners: Ghent and Leuven universities (Belgium), VU (Netherlands), Addis Ababa, Hawassa, Jimma, Arba Minch and Mizan Tepi Universities (Ethiopia).

4. Capacity Building for Scaling-up of Evidence Based Best Practices In Agricultural Production In Ethiopia (CASCAPE)

6. Advancing the Productivity Frontier for Sorghum (APFS)

  • Funding Source: USAID.
  • Participating Institutions: University of Georgia (Georgia, USA), International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT, India & West Africa), Jimma University (Jimma, Ethiopia), the Land Institute (Kansas, USA), and Agricultural Research Council (ARC) – South Africa.
