BSc in Agricultural Extension (Midcareer)

Objectives:
  1. Enhance the skills and knowledge of midcareer extension personnel with  value chain oriented agricultural Extension
  2. Address further education need of diploma level development agents through   flexible mode of course delivery.
  3. Conduct on job demand driven action research and community services
Graduate Profile:
  • Addressing problematic situations for sustainable commercialization of smallholder agriculture
  • Advise on  production and post-production activities 
  • Mobilizing communities organization development
  • Building and sustaining institutional partnerships for the entire value chain
  • Deliver consultancy in the sector.

Graduation Requirement:
Students who are directly admitted from secondary school are expected to take common, core and supportive modules with a minimum of 180 ECTS for graduation. At the end of the program, the student is required to have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 2.00 with no “F” letter grade in any course within each module.
