Astrophysics

Training on Data Management and Analysis held at BECO, JU

Research and Postgraduate office College of Business and Economics hosted staff training on “Data Management and Analysis Using STATA Software” in collaboration with Jimma University Clinical and Nutrition (JUCAN) Research Center. The training was held for four days starting from 16/10/2018 to 19/10/2018. Twenty seven academic staffs and PhD students selected from the five departments in the college have participated in the training.

የጅማ ዩነቨርሲቲ መደበኛ ነባር ቅድመ ምረቃ እና ሁሉም ድኅረ ምረቃ ተማሪዎች ምዝገባችሁ ጥቅምት 12 እና 13/2011ዓ.ም የሚፈጸም መሆኑን እየገለጽን በየኮሌጃችሁ እና ኢንስቲትዩቶቻችሁ ሬጅስትራር ጽሕፈት ቤቶች በግንባር በመቅረብ ምዝገባችሁን እንድትፈጽሙ እናስታውቃለን፡፡

The Third NADRE Training Workshop at JU

Jimma University hosted the third implementation workshop on National Academic Digital Repository of Ethiopia (NADRE) from 15-16 October 2018. The workshop is organized by JU Library System in collaboration with GIZ. The participants are Librarians, research coordinators, Ict professionals from Metu, Asosa and other cluster Universities of Jimma University.

Call for Proposal on Community Service Projects (Second call - 2018/19)

The office of the Vice President for Research and Community Services hereby announces the second call for community service project proposals. For the second call, the office is seeking applications at college/institute level to be reviewed and selected by a panel of experts that would be nominated for the review and selection at college level by the dean of colleges/institutes. The proposed community service projects must be aimed at addressing felt needs and problems of the local community.

Call for Technology Transfer Project

The office of the Vice President for Research and Community Services has sturdily committed to supports the development and dissemination of technologies that would be transferred for commercialization or dissemination to the end users.
