Jimma University graduated a total of 1421 students in various field of study in a colorful ceremony on Saturdays June 23, 2012. College of Business and Economics graduated 712 students, College of Natural Sciences 330 students, College of Public Health and Medical Sciences 300 students and Institute of Education and Development program 76 students.

The graduation ceremony took place in the main campus. Dr. Fikre Lemessa, President of Jimma University, and guest of honor gave awards to the outstanding graduates.
